March 8 (SeeNews) – Slovenian chemicals producer Cinkarna Celje [LJE:CICG] has recorded a net operating profit of 42.3 million euro ($44.6 million) in 2022, up from 33.2 million euro in the previous year, it said.
The company’s net sales revenue rose 18.0% to 227.2 million euro in 2022 and earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) grew 24.8% to 64.0 million euro, Cinkarna Celje said in an annual unaudited financial report.
The company made investments worth 10.2 million euro in 2022, down from 11.3 million euro in 2021, it said.
Cinkarna Celje was established in 1873. Its core business is production and marketing of titanium dioxide pigment.
Its shares traded flat at 29.0 euro by 1005 CET on Wednesday on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange.
